These Terms govern your use of Confey. By using the bot and related services, you agree to these Terms.

Account and Acceptable Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

You must follow these Terms and applicable laws when using Confey. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must meet Discord's minimum age and account requirements for your region, and have permission to use Confey in the servers where you interact with it.

3. Service Description

Confey provides anonymous confession features, moderation tooling, interactive community features, and related support services for Discord users and server administrators.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Confey to:

  • Harass, threaten, dox, or target individuals.
  • Post illegal content or content that violates Discord policies.
  • Attempt abuse of anonymity features to evade moderation.
  • Attack, reverse engineer, overload, or disrupt the service.

Moderation and Premium Services

5. Moderation and Enforcement

Confey applies automated and manual safety controls, including toxicity detection and moderation actions. Depending on server settings and severe safety cases, identities may be revealed to authorized moderators.

6. AI and Local Model Usage

  • Confey may use local models to evaluate toxicity and support moderation decisions.
  • These local model checks are for safety and moderation only.
  • Confession content processed in these checks is not used to train a new Confey AI model.

7. Server Administrator Responsibilities

Server administrators are responsible for their server configuration, moderation choices, and legal compliance for their communities. Configurations should be used in good faith and not to target users unfairly.

8. Payments and Premium Features

Paid features may be offered through third-party payment providers. Pricing, billing periods, and cancellation terms are shown at checkout or on plan pages. Abuse, chargeback fraud, or policy violations may result in suspension.

Service Availability and Liability

9. Availability and Changes

We may update, suspend, or discontinue features at any time to maintain security, performance, or legal compliance. We are not liable for downtime or third-party platform outages beyond our reasonable control.

10. Disclaimer

Confey is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law, without warranties of uninterrupted operation or fitness for a specific purpose.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Confessions LLC and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill arising from use of Confey.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, abuse of features, legal risk, or security concerns. You may stop using Confey at any time.

We may modify these Terms. Continued use after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
